KTL COMMUNITY EVENTS

KTL organizes events based on the identified needs and interests of the communities, in addition to the gaps and challenges faced therein.

EVENT ONE: THE FAMILY UNIT

In celebration of the auspicious occasion of the birth of Imam Ali (as), KTL organized its launching event in Beirut, Lebanon where the esteemed speakers, Sheikh Mohammad El-Chaer and Sayyed Hussain Makki, delivered interactive lectures on the philosophy of the family, the concept of kinship and our rights & obligations towards our family members. The speakers also tackled controversial topics such as abortion and the scope of parental authority.

EVENT TWO: MARRIAGE & INTIMACY

This event tackled the philosophy of marriage, its purpose and the most common challenges encountered during the pre-marital, engagement and marital phases.

The course was delivered through a full day event divided into three segments, each tackling one of the phases above.

First Segment: Premarital Phase

This phase tackled questions related to the philosophy or marriage, qualifications of a life partner, the way to approach someone for marriage and self-awareness.

Second Segment: Engagement Phase

This phase presented the physical and emotional limitations during engagement, topics to be discussed and the characteristics that distinguished men and women.

Third Segment: Intimacy between Spouses

This phase highlighted the significance of intimacy for the wellbeing of the marital relationship.

It clarified the limitations that must be observed during intimacy and the scope of communication between spouses thereof.
